“If you could hold it still, we might actually be able to build this thing before the race!” Orion muttered irritably as he grabbed the ends of the chariot to keep it from shaking. The ten year old gave his friend a glare who giggled, giving him a mischievous look.
“All right, fine.” She steadied her hands and Orion muttered under his breath, grabbing the rim and slid under the chariot, wrench in hand. The other demigods in the clearing were leaning against their completed chariots, talking to one another, laughing. This was the first time there had ever been a chariot race at Camp Half-Blood in a long time, thanks to Tantalus, so everyone was excited for the race to start. Orion and Liz, always the procrastinators, were the last ones to sign up and the last ones to finish their chariot.
